Qualification & Experience:

Min 3-6 years of experience with Bachelor of Food Science, Microbiology, Human Ecology Foods or a related discipline in Quality area.

Position Summary:

Monitors and assures the compliance with quality standards w.r.t Raw Material, Production Process, Good Manufacturing Practices, Food Quality and Good Transportation Practices to ensure product conforms to specification/s and food safety practices . Assist in documentation related to FSMS and related topics.

Technical Skills:

Product Quality Inspection:

Assist in development of SOPs by working with line operators to understand current operating procedures, identify best methods, help document new and/or update existing standard operating procedures.

  • Monitor the cooking process to ensure cooking specifications/Recipies are being followed and check the product for completeness

  • Inspect the Food Quality and ensure good product goes out for consumption

  • Monitor production to ensure all documentation is complete.

  • Inspect the raw materials, and ensure good material is accepted

  • Ensure the product specifications like taste, smell, color and other attributes are met for the finished product before clearing the product for dispatch.

  • Monitor CCPs and ensure the compliance

  • Ensure correct labelling, date coding, and correct packing, loading and clean vehicle for the transport

  • Placing questionable product on hold, discarding bad product or stopping production line to correct or prevent product quality issues.

  • Monitor production processing and assist operators in making adjustments to processing methods during production to improve product quality & consistency.

  • Ensure measuring equipment used in kitchen functioning properly and calibrated and are With in the due date

  • Work with production and warehouse to control, maintain, and/or improve as appropriate the handling, storage and usage for rework and all other materials

  •  Assist in developing HACCP plans and SOP’s

  •  Assist in maintaining food safety programs and external audits Inspections

  •  Perform GMP inspection

  •  Perform Food Safety Inspection

  • Perform/Coordinate the Lab tests and ensure the feedback from the tests are taken care to improve the product further

  • Provide individual or group training to production employees on Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), product specifications, SPC, production controls, formulas, visual quality inspection criteria, GMP, Food Safety procedures.
