Akshaya Patra wins the Chanakya Award 2015 by PRCI

Akshaya Patra has been conferred the prestigious Chanakya Award for NGO of the Year 2015!  The Foundation has received this award in the PRCI (Public Relations Council of India) Annual Corporate Collateral Awards 2015. The awards ceremony was held at the PRCI 9th Global Communication Conclave 2015 on 14th March at New Delhi. The theme of the conclave this year was 'Communicate to Connect'.

The Foundation also received Platinum for the Annual Report 2013-14,  Gold for the video 'The Possibilities', Gold for the Quarterly Newsletter - Akshayatra Vol. 2 2014, Silver for the Foundation's 2015 Calendar, Bronze in the category of Social Media Campaign of the year for #HungryForSchool, and an Appreciation Award for Corporate Advertisement for video, 'What can you get for Rs. 750?'.

The PRCI Annual Corporate Collateral Awards is among the most esteemed event in the arena of corporate communications, and is conducted to recognise and applaud excellence in talent and professional standards. For this year's event the jury comprised of eminent professionals from the corporate sector, mass communications and media.

The Press Council of India is a body of professionals across public relations, corporate communications, advertising, media and academicians. Established to raise the standards of PR practice through better professional development and networking opportunities, the PRCI has its national headquarters in Bangalore, and 25 chapters spread across India.
