Applied Materials India and The Akshaya Patra Foundation are working together to implement the PM POSHAN Abhiyaan (Mid-Day Meal Programme) for children from low-income households.

Based in Bengaluru, India, The Akshaya Patra Foundation is a non-profit organisation. The Mid-Day Meal Programme is one of the ways the Foundation works to end classroom hunger. Children enrolled in government schools receive wholesome meals as a part of the initiative. Along with addressing classroom hunger, Akshaya Patra supports every child from a socioeconomically disadvantaged household in having access to an education.
