Arista Networks is an industry leader in data-driven, client-to-cloud networking for large data centres, campus and routing environments. It was launched in 2008 by Andy Bechtolsheim, Ken Duda and David Cheriton and is currently being led by CEO Jayshree Ullal. Our award-winning platforms deliver availability, agility, automation, analytics and security through an advanced network operating stack.

Over the years, we have kept a close watch on our impact on the environment. We have consistently worked on regulating our greenhouse emissions, upgrading waste management practices, forging sustainable product designs and choosing environmentally conscious suppliers.

In line with these principles, our global family is collaborating with The Akshaya Patra Foundation this year to empower children from humble backgrounds with the “Celebrating School Meal Programme”. With this alliance, we aim to help provide them the much-needed hot, nutritious mid-day-meal every school day, while they come to study in government schools of India.

About Akshaya Patra

Akshaya Patra is a not-for-profit organisation addressing nationwide classroom hunger and malnutrition. By implementing the PM POSHAN Abhiyaan (formerly known as the Mid-Day Meal Programme) in government and government-aided schools, the NGO aims to fight hunger, malnutrition and school drop-out along with raising school enrolments.

Since 2000, Akshaya Patra has worked towards reaching out to children with wholesome food every single school day. It is continuously leveraging innovative technology to cater to millions of children. Its state-of-the-art kitchens have become a subject of study, attracting curious visitors from around the world.

The Foundation has grown from humble beginnings — serving just 1,500 school children across five schools in India to implementing one of the world’s largest non-profit-run school feeding programmes. Today, it nourishes over 2 million children from more than 22,000 schools in 67 locations across 15 states and 2 union territories in the country.
