Its solutions are found in some of the most well-known names in the healthcare, personal care, household, and food & beverage markets. TekniPlex India Pvt Ltd has supported Akshaya Patra on numerous occasions—be it sponsoring kitchen equipment at the Foundation’s centralised kitchen in Ahmedabad (Gujarat), sponsoring mid-day meals to 1,048 government school children in Gandhinagar (Gujarat), or the distribution of 760 essential grocery kits, 1,960 Happiness Kits and 1,650 school bags to government school children in Greater Noida (Uttar Pradesh) and Gandhinagar.

TGPL is one of India's leading manufacturers of Transmission products like Helical, Worm, Heli-Worm, Double Worm and Geared motors, Electric Motors. Quality has been the prime importance in all stages of manufacturing and assembling of products. TGPL as a company always promotes the quality improvement endlessly and pursues the target that the customers are satisfied with. In the FY 20-21 Transtech Gears supported The Akshaya Patra Foundation to distribute 2000+ Happiness kit (Grocery kit) to government school children in Bangalore.

The Jewelley Channel

The Jewelley Channel is a fully own subsidiary of the VGL group of companies and has grown to become one of the largest jewellery retailers in the UK, and a popular brand amongst those who love luxury. Launched on 4th April 2006, our TV Shopping Network now broadcasts to over 30 million homes across the UK and Republic of Ireland. TJC is a respected member of the jewellery industry worldwide – we are affiliated to The British Jewellers Association (BJA), the Thai Gem & Jewellery Traders Association, The Jewellers Board of Trade and the International Coloured Gemstone Association. Alongside financial and economical aspirations, TJC is also committed to give something back to the society. Hence we have collaborated with Akshay Patra since January 2015 to initiate a mid-day meal programme for under privileged children. We are covering 14186+ students in a day which converts to around 354K lunches in a month for the students.

The New India Assurance Co. Ltd

The New India Assurance Co. Ltd., based in Mumbai, Maharashtra is a public sector general insurance company of India. It is the “largest general insurance company of India on the basis of gross premium collection inclusive of foreign operations”. It was founded by Sir Dorabji Tata in 1919, and was nationalized in 1973. New India Assurance operates both in India and foreign countries. The company is sponsoring the midday meal of a few thousand children across India. They are also a co-sponsor of 50,000 capacity rice based kitchen for midday meal scheme at Lawspet, Puducherry.

Toshiba has a long history of over 60 years in India. Toshiba is focusing on sustainable B2B fields like railway systems, batteries, elevators and water treatment besides power systems field. With the slogan "Committed to People, Committed to the Future", Toshiba has partnered with Akshaya Patra's Mid-Day Meal Programme with the aim to improve lives of the children. In FY 2019-20, Toshiba sponsored meals for 3,000 children in Bengaluru, Karnataka.

With support from UST, the Foundation has distributed 1500 Happiness Kits to government school children in Bangalore, Chennai and Mysore.

“VGL has sponsored one Akshaya Patra mid-day meal for every item sold at The Jewellery Channel (a VGL Group company), UK. TJC is supporting mid-day meals for 14,000 Government school children since, January 2015. Fom October 2017 onwards they have increased their support by adding another 25000 children meal per day under their Shop Lc USA based company.”

Vistara

Vistara is a joint venture of Tata Sons Limited and Singapore Airlines Limited (SIA). Registered as TATA SIA Airlines Limited, Vistara is an Indian domestic full-service airline. The common goal of the joint venture is to redefine air travel in and to/from India to provide travellers a seamless and personalised flying experience that blends Tata’s and SIA’s service excellence and legendary hospitality. Vistara joined hands with The Akshaya Patra Foundation in 2015 and has been a constant support to mid-day meal beneficiaries and towards the COVID Relief Service. Their support has ensured that children get nutrition and stay connected with studies and personal hygiene is maintained.
