Providing nutrition kits in Jammu & Kashmir. Support with nutrition kits.

The Akshaya Patra Foundation stands in solidarity with our fellow Indians in Jammu & Kashmir during this critical hour.

The Jammu & Kashmir administration has reached out to Akshaya Patra to extend support by providing essential grocery kits to the displaced families. Each kit is designed to meet the essential food and hygiene needs.

We are providing nutrition kits to our brothers and sisters in Jammu & Kashmir. Due to recent cross-border escalations along the Indo-Pak Line of Control (LoC), several villages in the region have witnessed large-scale displacement. They are currently residing in temporary relief camps and shelters organised by the local administration and the Indian Army.

About Us

Recognised globally, Akshaya Patra (TAPF) is one of the largest implementers of not-for-profit-run school meal programmes, working on a mission to provide nutritious school meals in government schools across India. At present, Akshaya Patra is serving meals to over 2.25 million children every school day in 23,000+ government schools across 16 states and 3 UTs in India through our kitchens in 78 locations, continuously working towards expanding our reach to more children.

Note: Natural disasters often cause significant damage and disruption, requiring swift response and support. In such situations, the Foundation will make every effort to allocate contributions towards the designated relief effort. However, we may need to redirect funds to address other natural disasters in India, and we request your understanding in this regard. Any surplus fund that is unutilized will be used for Midday Meal/PM Poshan Program. Please note that utilization certificate will be issued once the funds are utilized and not immediately on receipt.
