Objectives of the Scholarship Programme
What is the need of the programme?
A scholarship is crucial in providing access to higher education and ensuring that financial constraints do not stop talented and deserving students from lower income backgrounds to pursue their dreams.
Selection Criteria
While the mid-day meal was an incentive for them to start education, a scholarship would be an incentive to continue what they started.
Together, let’s empower meritorious students to continue their educational journey and unlock their full potential.
Let’s help students continue their education and achieve their dreams.
Important Note: Scholarship commitments have to be made for a minimum period of five years, so students are supported until graduation. This ensures continuity of education for every student. Scholars are usually selected on merit-cum-need basis. Specific eligibility criteria are usually defined by the donor awarding the scholarship. At present, the focus is on children in Classes 11 and 12 (Junior College), followed by support through their graduation degree.
