Introducing Akshaya Patra's 47th Kitchen in Silvassa

On 29 July 2019, The Akshaya Patra Foundation inaugurated its 47th kitchen across the country in Silvassa, Dadra & Nagar Haveli. MUFG Bank has sponsored the cost of the kitchen. It has the capacity to cook 65,000 meals per day. 

The Chief Guests at the inaugural ceremony of the kitchen included MUFG Bank's leadership team - Mr. Junsuke John Koike - Regional Executive for India & Srilanka, Ms. Renu Vijayanand - Managing Director, Human Resources, Mr. Naoki Iwata - Vice President, Strategic Planning & Ms. Diana Fernandes - Assistant Vice President, Corporate Communications.

A big thanks to MUFG Bank, Government of India and Government of Gujarat for supporting the initiative.
