Gold win at LACP 2013/14 Vision Awards
Akshaya Patra has won Gold in the LACP (League of American Communications Professionals LLC) 2013/14 Vision Awards in the Annual Reports Competition. Awarded 98 out of 100 points by the judges, Akshaya Patra ranks 26th of the top 50 annual reports worldwide. Last year Akshaya Patra ranked 34 out of the top 50. This is Akshaya Patra's fourth consecutive Gold award win from LACP, and the third time the organisation has been featured in the top 50 reports.
Now in its 13th consecutive year, the competition drew in one of the largest number of entries so far, across industries and organisation strength. Flowing in from nearly two dozen countries, the competition was fierce with nearly 1,000 organisations taking part. The LACP annual reports competition categorised the entries according to industry as well as type (print-based annual reports, print-based alternative reports, and digitally-based reports).
Other winners in the non-profit category of annual report entries were Big Brothers Big Sisters of NYC (Platinum), ACHIEVA (Gold), Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation (Gold), Kosovo Pension Savings Trust (Silver) and Association House of Chicago (Bronze).
Established in 2001 the LACP aims to promote a platform in the public relations industry that encourages best practices and recognises those with exceptional communications capabilities.
