TAPF-NACEN conduct NGO-attachment programme for 60 newly recruited Inspectors
Akshaya Patra, in association with the National Academy of Customs, Excise & Narcotics (NACEN), continued its NGO-attachment training-cum-exposure initiative by organising a one-day training program for 60 newly recruited Inspectors on February 17, 2017. NACEN is a training institution working under the Department of Revenue, Ministry of Finance, Government of India.
The Inspectors visited the Foundation’s centralised kitchen in Vasanthapura, along with GMPS-Thalagattapura school in Bengaluru, where they served meals to Akshaya Patra’s beneficiary children.
Around 25 enthusiastic young volunteers participated in a cleanliness drive organised by AIKYA, in pursuance of its mission to enhance the quality of school education, promote a culture of ‘Cleanliness and Hygiene’ in schools served by The Akshaya
