Campaign Overview

Hello my dear Friends,

This is a campaign to endeavour the growing need of wiping hunger to the malnourished children. When I came to know about Akshay Patra Foundation providing mid day meal scheme to the underprivileged students at a cost of Rs.750 only, i thought why could not me. It serves hot, nourished foods to 1.3 million everyday kids going to school. 

Its main motto is no child should be deprived of education because of hunger. We can just give a single thought when on one side, there would be smartphones, laptops, video games in the hands of some kids, while on the other side there are many kids who die of hunger not getting atleast 2 complete meals a day.

I am not saying people should stop shopping, should stop going parties, spending 1000 bucks on eating pizza, burger in a month or may be after every 15 days. We could simply lend our hand to the needy and be a part of it and start contributing something to the kids and at least bring a little smile on their face,which they deserve at this age.

You can have a check on the website in details, find out the facts and figures and then feel free to be a part of it. Let us join our hands and help at least 1 kid a day. Yes, its just Rs.750 only.
