Campaign Overview

This pongal day when we watch the pongal overflow and offer our prayers to the Sun God to thank him for his gift of a bountiful harvest, please spare a thought for the thousands who are hungry. Let us share this pongum inbam (overflowing joy) with our hungry brothers and sisters. Let us share our joy by feeding a hungry child. Hunger is the most cruel suffering that can be inflicted on a child. When we celebrate happy occasions like birthdays, anniversaries let us pause a moment to think of a hungry child and help to end his hunger. This campaign aims to raise funds to feed 100 children for one year. If each one of us can contribute for meal for one child, on an occasion dear to us - it can be your birthday, your child's birthday, your wedding anniversary, a festivel .... any occasion - we can help reach this goal. The amount of Rs. 750 is a very small amount, but for a hungry child it is an assurance for one wholesome nutritious meal for one year!! Come, help spread the joy and bring smile to the face of 100 hungry children.
