At ReNew, we believe in the power of giving back. This year, as part of our annual employee engagement campaign The Rice & Millet Challenge (formerly the ‘Rice Bucket Challenge’), we are launching a special collaboration with The Akshaya Patra Foundation to provide nutritious meals to children in need.

What is the Rice & Millet Challenge?
Each year, ReNew celebrates Daan Utsav through this campaign, encouraging ReNewers to donate rice/millets or the equivalent monetary value. ReNew then matches all contributions and ensures they reach families in need. To date, we have distributed over 1,70,000 kgs of rice to the underprivileged.

This Daan Utsav, we invite you to join us in the Rice & Millet Challenge to combat hunger and bring hope to underprivileged children. Your generosity will help provide essential meals to those facing food insecurity. For every ₹1,500 donated, you can provide meals to a child for an entire year, ensuring their access to healthy food and a brighter future. ReNew will match all contributions, doubling the impact of your donation.

Your donation will be used to purchase rice/millets, which will be distributed to children through our partner organisation, The Akshaya Patra Foundation.
 
2. Is my donation tax-deductible?
 
Yes, any contribution of ₹500 or more will be eligible for an 80-G tax certificate.
 
3. Can I volunteer as well?
