Meet a Math Lover!
Living away from parents makes you quite independent they say. That’s the story of Kavanna who is growing up to be self-reliant—she lives with her grandmother and uncle while her parents are away farming in a different village. She is currently studying in Standard VI at Government Higher Primary School, Jyothipura, Bengaluru. Her brother is also a student of the same school in Standard VIII.
Kavanna does not miss a single day of school and is content with Akshaya Patra’s mid-day meals. She feels that the food is nutritious and helps her gain strength. Rasam Baath is her much-loved dish! The cheerful girl happens to be teachers’ favourite as well. She loves building things and solving Mathematics problems—a growing interest to her dream of becoming an Engineer. Her favourite teacher, Sheela Miss, encourages and helps her enjoy solving Math problems. Someday, Kavanna wants to put her Math skills to good use in her engineering course
