The Burden of staying in sister’s house in pandemic

When you start living with a relative & pandemic strikes, you feel guilty for being a burden.

About four years ago, Farzana lost her husband. There was no breadwinner and with nobody to pay the rent, she and her children moved to her sister’s house in Mysuru road, Bengaluru. The pandemic worsened the situation of her sister’s house, and the guilt of not contributing to her sister’s earnings, Farzana started feeling that she is becoming a burden on her sister's family.

Farzana visits Akshaya Patra’s relief feeding centre in KR Market along with her three children. This is one way she can ensure that she and her children have access to at least one meal of the day.

Many people suffer silently, whether they have food or not, they need some support. Donate now to provide food essentials to help them survive.
