This Year, we have partnered with The Akshaya Patra Foundation – an NGO that serves hot, nutritious and healthy mid-day meals to children studying in government and government-aided schools. For most of these children coming from challenging socio-economic backgrounds, school meals are their first meal of the day.

About Akshaya Patra
Akshaya Patra is an implementing partner of the government’s PM POSHAN Abhiyaan, headquartered in Bengaluru. It has been serving school meals since 2000 and has grown from feeding 1,500 children to over 2 million children. It is spread over 67 locations and caters to the local palate of children to ensure that their nutritional requirements are met and wastage of food is avoided.
