Movies leave a long-lasting impression in the minds of youngsters. They encourage ideas in young minds and help in knowing what’s happening around the world. Rajesh, a student of Chandrabaghabai Education Society, was inspired by a Bollywood movie ‘Gully Boy’ to follow his dream.

Rajesh has never dreamt of having a conservative career, his interest lies in making music. He enjoys listening to music and gets lost while listening to different tunes. In school, he is always trying to create tunes and one can often find him tapping his desk with pencils to create different notes and frequencies.

In his free time, his friends call him to play cricket and kho kho, etc. but he prefers to stay back in class and writes lyrics for his next rap song. When he grows up, he wants to be a rap artist who creates music and songs around the theme – the current situation.

No matter what scenario is given to him, he works on writing his lyrics, adding a tune to the rap song and raps in front of the whole class. When asked how he is so fluent in rapping in Hindi and English, he says that he visits his neighbour’s house twice a week and tries to watch his favourite artists and talk like them. As he starts narrating his story, he adds a few beats and starts rapping about his daily activities. His friends join him as beat-boxers to imitate the sounds of drums.

One day, his principal called him to this cabin and asked him if he would be the opener of the school annual day function. He was on top of the clouds that day. After finishing his rap performance, the whole school assembly gave him a big round of applause. Rajesh was a true performer, who was not afraid of facing a crowd.

His school principal was proud of him, she asked him about his inspiration and was fascinated to know that he was determined to enter the music industry despite knowing the fact that he will have to struggle and work very hard to get a foothold in the industry.

When asked about why he chose a different stream for his career, he says that no work is a task if you do it with a full heart. And his heart lies in rap music and he is determined to follow his dream.
