Occasions there are so many
let’s choose to make them all extra special!
Occasions… there are so many… let’s choose to make them all extra special!
Beginning with Birthdays, Weddings, Anniversaries, Housewarming, festivals, Personal achievement moments like promotion, buying a new car, to observing national and international days such as Children’s Day, Independence Day, Republic Day, Daan Utsav, Joy of Giving Week, International Women’s Day, Mother’s Day…. we have so many reasons to celebrate. So why not make it memorable?
While you make merry on these occasions with your dear ones, just take a moment to add compassion to your celebrations! Double your joys by contributing for the much-needed school meals of children studying in Government schools. These children are storehouse of willpower, zeal, and vigour. All they need is a little support from you for their school meals that helps them to receive adequate nutrition and rightful education.
EACH MEAL TRANSFORMS THEIR LIVES
"I aim to become a doctor to 'cure my grandmother'. I see her coughing all day round, increasing at night. When I rub her back to comfort, she says, ‘until My Little Doctor is with me, nothing can harm me.’ The high cost of health care keeps my grandmother away from a check-up. By becoming a doctor, I want to cure my grandmother and provide free treatment to other people as well."
"At several instances, I have seen my Abbu promote learning and foster societal attitudes toward education among his circle of friends. Despite the social stigma of educating a girl child, he has been supporting my schooling under some of the most challenging circumstances including opposition from aging family members. By becoming a Professor, I want to see my father’s head held high."
"I want to be an Indian Air Force Pilot. It has been my dream since Standard V. Pilots don’t have a fear of heights, something I admire a lot. I also want to fight for our country and make India proud. I am very fond of Geography and Science as I am very interested in learning about the earth and I also wish to invent something to help the nation"
These were just three of the 1.8 million+ dreams to which you can give wings by extending your support on different occasions.
