If it were not for the pandemic, by now children
would have been back to school for a new academic year.
And, we at The Akshaya Patra Foundation
would have been serving nutritious mid-day meals to them. 

Indeed, we are eagerly waiting for the pandemic to cease, but until then we will be providing our mid-day meal beneficiary children with Happiness Kits.

Each Happiness Kit will be packed
with nutritious food items, immunity boosters,
hygiene kit, and learning materials.

The objectives behind this initiative are:

• To ensure our beneficiary children continue to receive nutritious meals amid the prevailing crisis;
• To boost immunity and health of children;
• To ensure basic hygiene needs are met; and 
• Engage children in activities to support their continuous learning amid the lockdown.

Currently, we are distributing Happiness Kits to our mid-day meal beneficiaries in Bengaluru, Jigani, Hyderabad, Thane, Silvassa, Jaipur, Vadodara, Lucknow, Vrindavan, Guwahati, Ballari, Hubballi, Mangalore, Pune, Surat, Bikaner, Updaipur, Jhalawar, Jodhpur, and Vizag. We aim to reach our beneficiaries in other locations soon in a phase-wise manner. And your support towards this initiative is of utmost significance. With a contribution of Rs. 550 towards a Happiness Kit, you can nourish and nurture a child during the prevailing pandemic.
